Bio

Born in Jacksonville, Florida, 33 years ago, Heather Blanton began photographing her favorite images at five years old.  An identical twin, Heather and her sister overcame complicated childhood obstacles and traumatic pain through their affinity to art and photography.  Relocating to Miami to concentrate on her studies, then finally to New York City, Heather honed her talent while working with highly acclaimed Fashion, Commercial, Corporate and Fine Art Photographers.  Through these experiences, she established lasting relationships with international moguls in Art, Music and Commerce, strengthening the passion and promise of her career.  Heather Blanton has dedicated her life to nurturing her curiosity in alternative photographic equipment and methods, combining rare images with paint and emotion.  Her work offers a different perspective of common scenes and architecture, illustrating beauty and fluidity with fascinating, yet simple complexity. 

Heather currently resides near her family in Atlantic Beach, Florida between frequent trips to destinations all over the globe.  With recent shows in the Netherlands and a current invitation to Athens, Greece, Heather’s photography is now seen in popular CD covers and her work graces walls all over the world:  Heather Blanton works tirelessly to show us the view from her own captivating eyes.
